I was very pleased with my appointment. The wait time was acceptable. The person doing my X-rays was very nice & professional, as was the nurse that came in & took the information about my visit. Amanda was very good at explaining the procedure of giving me a shot in my toe and what it would be like if I had surgery. Over all it was a good visit. The only complaint would be that it was too cold in the rooms.

Amanda Allison, MSN/APRN was absolutely outstanding in my pre-op appointment. She was comprehensive and thorough in her explanations, detailed in answering all of my questions and encouraging about my upcoming procedure. She made me feel confident and at completely at ease before I even met with the surgeon, Dr. Lewis. I am happy to know that she will also be there on the day of my surgery!

The care of my 2 Dr’s is the ONLY reason I stay at this practice. Unfortunately, for a 15 min checkup I will be in the waiting room for at least an hour before I am called by for my scheduled appointment. That makes it more irritating and not such a good visit. Don’t let your appt be near lunch, because that is GOIN to be the vocal point of the office. I hv had the same experience in both Louisville and Indiana offices.

Amanda Allison and staff are amazing! Knowledgeable and patient when explaining my injury and helping me with the resolution without pressuring or pushing me in any way. The open MRI process was quick and painless! And the front desk staff were so efficient and friendly, which honestly is not easy to find anymore!! They are truly the “chic-fil-a” service of the ortho world with amazing personalities!!! Thank you for turning a tough situation into a great experience and a better life in the long run!

You know it is bad when a patient compares a specialist clinic to an automobile brake shop. My mother has been a patient here for some time, and she has had multiple negative experiences, ranging from feeling chastised and judged by clinical staff, which left her in tears, to not having her concerns or questions addressed. Recently, she had a steroid injection in her shoulder that hit a nerve, leaving her in extreme pain and with weakness in her dominant hand, which she never had prior to the injection. After she called to express her worry about these symptoms, the nurse-practitioner ordered an MRI with no explanation, only to tell my mother that the MRI showed she has arthritis in her shoulders (which she already knew; why else would she have the steroid injection?). They then said she should see a neurologist but did not help with a referral. I would NOT recommend this practice, and we plan of finding another provider to do my mother’s surgery.
